YA Sci-Fi Romance

ðŸ’«High school drama meets forbidden love in this interstellar romance!💫

"...Paranormal/sci-fi romances are probably my favorite genre. I adored this main character! I loved Sloane’s crazy purple hair and hard headed personality. I liked that she wasn’t perfect because in a lot of books I read, the main character is just too perfect and only seems to need to deal with fictional problems. I liked that Sloane faced real world problems while still having to deal with some psycho-aliens. My favorite part of the whole book was no doubt the “Fright Night Babble" posts." -Between The Pagez

"I absolutely loved this book for oh so many reasons. The main character, Sloane, has purple hair, rocks the Hot Topic look, and loves the same music and movies that I do. Sloane is amazing! She loves zombies, horror flicks, and The Walking Dead and keeps a survival pack in her garage in case of an apocalypse or at least a zombie outbreak. Witty and tough, she's a character that readers will definitely enjoy and relate to.

The bad boy and Sloane's major crush, Hayden, is another cool character in the long list of author Sherry Soule's cast of awesome teens. Hot, brooding, wearing combat boots, Hayden hides some wild secrets, like why he is super fast, can bend forks with his mind, and is a super genius. Readers will love the fast-paced and adventurous plot and the love triangles that get seriously dangerous. Add in some heartbreak and some hot kisses to make this book a five star read." - Read For Your Future

The Starlight Saga is a complete series intended for Upper-YA readers, with steamy kisses, a sassy heroine, and snarky humor. Perfect for fans of Twilight and Roswell!

The main recurring story ARC (theme) throughout the Starlight Saga is the obstacles and prejudices Hayden and Sloane must face and overcome that complicate things for the young couple as they struggle to decide if their forbidden love is worth fighting for…and even dying for.

Volume One of the Starlight Saga

Senior year is tough. Crushing on a gorgeous, possibly unearthly outcast? That’s a whole new level of complicated!

Sloane Masterson, high school newspaper reporter and expert secret-uncoverer, has a knack for sniffing out stories that are stranger than fiction. When she’s not dishing out snark in her wicked cool column—Fright Night Babble—where she chats about cliches in horror films, she’s busy scooping her next big story. Her latest obsession? The enigmatic and swoon-worthy Hayden Lancaster.

But Hayden’s not your average high school hottie. When Sloane catches Hayden defying the laws of physics, her reporter instincts kick into hyperdrive. It seems his superhuman abilities are literally out of this world. (And no, it’s not just his uncanny ability to rock skinny jeans.)

Suddenly, unmasking the truth becomes her top priority—right after over-analyzing why he makes her heart do backflips. Yet, learning Hayden’s secret might be more than Sloane bargained for—and even more dangerous for her heart. Because despite Hayden’s insistence that their relationship stays in the friend zone, their fierce attraction threatens to go supernova.

And there’s a cosmic catch (isn’t there always?): if they follow their hearts, there are dire consequences—like his intergalactic enemies permanently erasing Sloane’s memories faster than you can say “alien abduction.” (Talk about an otherworldly relationship hurdle!)

Now Sloane faces a choice more challenging than picking the perfect scary movie for a first date: protect herself, or forget the boy she loves forever.

Is this star-crossed romance worth potentially losing her mind over? (Spoiler: It just might be!)

Volume Two of the Starlight Saga

True love is hard. And a doomed relationship with epic trust issues and shady secrets? Even harder.
For Sloane Masterson, her forbidden love with Hayden Lancaster has been a series of highs and lows that is overly complicated by those annoying interstellar dating laws.
Once Sloane discovers a shocking family secret, she won’t let those lame rules get in her way—she’s on a mission to win back her hybrid!
Too bad convincing her stubborn ex that they belong together isn’t Sloane’s only problem…
After receiving creepy blackmail messages, Sloane’s life becomes a real-life horror movie. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, Hayden slimes her with ectoplasm and freaky mutants start tracking her every move. Insert one more major disaster, the unexpected arrival of Sector Thirteen.
If she hopes to survive all the crazy, Sloane needs to get that potent residue off her skin—fast.
Because with Sector Thirteen’s monsters hunting her, Sloane’s not going down without a fight, even if that means trusting the one boy who broke her heart.

Volume Three of the Starlight Saga

Being hunted by alien mutants totally sucks. And the threat of imprisonment in a secret underground lab? Even suckier.

Now that Sloane knows the truth about why Hayden’s been so secretive, she’s ready to put all that craziness behind her.

Besides, Sloane has bigger problems to deal with, like protecting her family from Sector Thirteen and getting Hayden’s snobby parents to finally accept her as one of them, which is proving more difficult than giving up chocolate.

And what better way to win over Hayden's parents and evade Sector Thirteen than an intergalactic vacay with her smoking hot boyfriend?

Sloane and her bestie, Viola Saks, are invited to join the Lancaster brothers for a family reunion on their home planet, an oasis of wicked cool beaches, warm dual suns, and clear blue seas.

But danger lurks in paradise…

Even in this beautiful utopia, Sloane and Hayden’s relationship is never far from higher levels of suckage. They might be vacationing in a galaxy far, far away, but someone still wants her dead.
